︎ Collage, foil chocolate wrappers on paper
Skinned and glued to sheets of paper, the little foil easter rabbits and chicks return to pasture. Referencing the use of gold in byzantine mosaics, these foil collages engage with the idea of value and worth. The gleaming gold foil was meant to be disposed once the chocolate it once held was eaten. Now, the foil adorns walls. These works were exhibited in “Away from Screen” at Speakeasy Berlin in 2023.
